Artist reflection: Back lighting

1) I say the first one because it was more interesting than the other one

2) The second one because it doesn't look as interesting, it looks more plain and simple

3) I can do more editing

4) Yes I used Photoshop to do some of the effects with the colors

5) Taking as many pictures as I could because that is how i can choose the best ones

6) Editing was easy about this assignment

7) Taking and getting the pictures because there would be a certain time you needed to take it at.

8) I would try to manage my time to get pictures

Ansel Adams

1) Ansel Adams masters in capturing landscapes

2) He uses lighting and the distance from whatever object he is shooting.

3) I really like his work with his lighting and color and he gets the best shots from the angle he takes the picture from

4) I feel this way because I love landscape pictures especially the ones that can calm you down and make you feel warm and happy.

Artist Reflection: Texture

Jackson O'Brien

                                                                      Texture

My best picture is the one of the tall bush because the combination between the angle and the sun really brings out the spiky texture. The weakest shot is the bench because it doesn't really express texture more than the others. Maybe I could find a different angle. I used it to brighten some picture because of the shadows in my pictures. The way I was able to meet my goal was to just take as many pictures as I could. Finding texture because it is everywhere. Finding a way to edit the pictures. Pay better attention to the different angles. I would honestly give myself and 7 and 1/2 or an eight because I can try harder all around.

texture

The tree is spiky and the angle, lighting and position brings that out
The bench is bumpy and the angle, position and lighting brings it out

The tree is rough and the lighting and angle really brings that out
